Alright so you can see that we've gone down from three hikers to two. Our older brother Nick (who was supposed to go on the hike with us) got himself kicked off the hike for not respecting our mother and father, along with being rude to us boys. He's not to broken up about it, he plans to go climbing out west for a few months. Then he told me he'd think about doing the AT alone next year.
      Ben and I, are happy and sad that he's not going. We wish things could have turned out different. Although seeing as he isn't always that pleasant to be around, we are glad we don't have to deal with that. So now the hike is just down to me and Ben.
